Ferrio announces move to Leah’s Yard

After five years at Sheffield Technology Parks, exciting automation startup, Ferrio is continuing on its growth trajectory in new premises at Leah’s Yard.

We’re thrilled to see co-founders, Dan Blaney and Alex Humphreys take on space at this prestigious space in the heart of Sheffield city centre. After starting with us on the Cooper Project, Ferrio secured a number of clients and moved into an office at the Tech Parks, where the pair have been active and valued members of our community since.

“Ferrio would not be what it is today without Tech Parks. The guidance, support and space has been huge for us but the networks and community are what really made the difference,” says Daniel, reflecting on his journey at the Tech Parks. He adds, “We recently traced back our biggest customer through a series of introductions and referrals that all came back to Tech Parks.”

Leah’s Yard, which is opening its doors this summer, is set to be home to a community of traders and creators, a showcase of what makes Sheffield so special. It’s the ideal home for Ferrio as the business moves into its next stage of growth. Dan explains,

“We’re on a clear growth trajectory now with new capabilities in our platform unlocking new markets, and the heritage of Leah’s Yard makes it the perfect place to put our Sheffield identity at the fore.”

Our CEO, Tom Wolfenden, who is a co-founder of Leah’s Yard, said:

“I can't wait to see Ferrio grow into their new studio. Sheffield Technology Parks is sometimes a victim of our own success, as we struggle to accommodate everyone we want to work with. Leah's Yard is now a good grow-on option for ambitious startups ready to expand, and I get to keep working alongside nice people like Dan and Alex.”

Whilst we’re sad to see Ferrio leave the Tech Parks, we’re excited to see what they’ll achieve at Leah’s Yard.
