What is Project 22?
Project 22, a 12-week pre-accelerator, is designed to help South Yorkshire based Tech and Tech-enabled startups test an idea in a safe environment free of risk and develop it into a viable business.
We provide ambitious early-stage tech and digital start-ups with Space, Support, and Networks to help them validate their business idea and accelerate their business growth.
We’re looking to on-board small cohorts of people with an ambition to set up, develop and scale a Tech and digital business.
As a not-for-profit economic development company, Sheffield Technology Parks delivers the programme and is able to provide subsequent follow-on accommodation and support as part of its broader client base with offices, labs, or workshops at the Cooper Buildings. We have been a specialist Tech and Digital incubator for 30 years.
Who is this for?
- You're a pre-start, pre-revenue, or pre-investment business in the tech or digital sector. This means you usually have an idea or a concept, but you need help getting going!
- You have a registered address or trading address in South Yorkshire
- Your business has been registered less than two years
- You have the ambition to grow and scale up, but maybe not the tools to do so right now
- Can commit to being present in our co-working space at least one day per week (Monday, Thursday, and Friday, preferably)
The Project 22 helps founders across several early stages in their venture:
- Idea stage – help startups turn their idea into an MVP and a real viable business;
- MVP stage – help startups validate their idea and pivot quickly to gain Product-Market Fit;
- Early company stage – help early-stage businesses to get their first clients, expand their network for growth, and connect them with funders/ investors.
