Sheffield Technology Parks, as the lead partner of the Sheffield Innovation Spine, is inviting applications from organisations interested in delivering the Investment Toolkit for the Sheffield Innovation Spine.

The Investment Toolkit will underpin the Sheffield Innovation Spine North Star Prospectus, guiding the delivery of innovation-ready spaces over the next twenty years. This toolkit aligns with the Spine’s strategic goals, respond to market demand aligned with Sheffield’s sector strengths, and provides an actionable roadmap for public and private investment.

Objectives: 

• Prioritise a defined set of potential investment opportunities across the Sheffield Innovation Spine. 

• Identify the most suitable development models and delivery mechanisms for investment in infrastructure and occupier space, including actionable ways to address any viability gaps in capital and operational funding requirements. 

• Support long-term stakeholder alignment and decision making by creating an evidence-based set of analytical tools. 

• Provide the overall finance and modelling structure to support future business cases on individual schemes.

The Investment Toolkit marks the beginning of a broader programme of work to catalyse and co-ordinate development across the Spine. It is intended to lay the foundations for stimulating further activity and unlock long-term transformation in Sheffield.
